Adam grew up in New Zealand, developing a passion for nature and conservation through numerous camping and hiking trips. He completed his Bachelor of Science at the University of Queensland, majoring in Zoology and Marine Biology. Before undertaking a Masters of Conservation Science, also at the University of Queensland, Adam spent time interning in a wildlife veterinary clinic in Costa Rica. He also gained work experience in Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service. Adam’s Masters thesis focuses on the effectiveness of financial offsets in meeting the prescribed environmental outcomes of development projects within Queensland. In his free time, Adam enjoys hiking, nature photography, and listening to music.
